Geography

The commune has a station served by FOR THE THIRD TIME of the lines Amiens - Rouen and Beauvais - Tréport.

The Bresle takes its source with Abancourt.

The commune includes/understands the hamlets of Hennicourt or Hannicourt, the Mountain and of Ménival.

History

A Gallo-Roman villa and old a Roman Voie were found in Abancourt.

The city was renamed Abancourt-the-Mountain with the revolution. Between 1791 to 1823, the commune is attached to Romescamps. In 1823, Abancourt is detached from Blargies and Hennicourt is attached to him.
