The people Abé (or Abbey ) live in Ivory Coast. They account for approximately 1,4% of the population of the country (that is to say 200.000 people) and are installed primarily in the area of Agboville, in the north of Abidjan.
They belong to the group Akan as the Ashanti of the Ghana from where they are originating. Migration between XVIIe and XVIIIe century towards Ivory Coast by fleeing slavery.
