Aaron Mauger

Aaron (Aza) Joseph Douglas Mauger , born the November 29th 1980 with Christchurch, is a player of Rugby to XV New Zealand which plays with the All-Blacks since 2001]. It is one three quarter centers, of 1,83 m for 92 kg. Key player of the Canterbury Crusaders until 2007, it signs right before the World cup a contract in favor of the English club of Leicester. Ila a fore-mentioned boyfriend Amy.

Career

In club

Mauger disputed 12 matches of the Super 12 in 2004-2005 and contributed to the victory of Crusaders in this competition.

In 2006, it disputes the Super 14 with the Canterbury Crusaders.

In national team

Mauger was captain of the team of New Zealand of less than 21 years (Colts) which gained the world tournament in 2000 and 2001.

It made its beginnings with the Blacks the November 17th 2001, at the time of a match against the Équipe of Ireland. In 2002, he was vice-captain of Blacks.

He took part in the world cup 2003 (4 disputed matches, of which the small finale).

Mauger was captain of AlBlacks in 2004 at the time of a match against the Barbarians.
