Aaron Ciechanover
Aaron Ciechanover (born in 1947 -) is an Israeli biologist . With Avram Hershko and Irwin Pink, it receives in 2004 the Nobel Prize of chemistry for their discoveries in the degradation controlled by the Ubiquitine of the Protéine S.
Born with Haïfa in Israel, it receives its Master off Science in 1971 and its M.D. in 1974 with the medical school of Hadassah of the Hebraic Université of Jerusalem. It receives in 1982 its doctorate in medicine of the Technion (Israel Institute off Technology), with Haïfa. It is in this moment professor in the unit of Biochimie and director of the Rappaport institute for the medical research in Technion.
