Summary

Caroline having crossed without too many damage the Revolution, became the woman of Gaston de Sallanches who holds garrison with Like. Light and carefree, Caroline noticed the beautiful Livio dancer. The city is raised against the French and the general and his wife find asylum in an Italian countess with whom Gaston makes a finger of court. Furious, Caroline escapes and joined Livio, chief of the insurrectionists. The French troops take again in hand the situation, Gaston recovers Caroline and, noting that nothing was granted to its rival, it makes thanks to this last
