a tandem of shock or Direction: South ( Due South ) is a Televised series Canadian in a 90 minute old pilot and 66 45 minutes episodes, created by Paul Haggis and diffused between the September 15th 1994 and the March 14th 1999 on the Réseau CTV. In France, the series was diffused starting from 1996 on TF1, repeated on TF6 and starting from May 2006 on NT1.

Synopsis

Party to inquire with Chicago into the assassination of his/her father, Benton Fraser, agent of the assembled police force, is then affected with the Canadian consulate. Accompanied by Diefenbaker, its deaf wolfhound which reads on the lips, it makes team with the inspector Ray Vecchio, an American of origin Italy, with the character extraverti, contrary to his.

This series, with the Canadian humor shifted in the middle of police investigations, gained a very great success in its country of origin. It should be noted appearances of Leslie Nielsen in the type of roles which made it famous.
