a small advised hen ( The Wise Little Hen ) is a Short film of animation of the series Silly Symphonies realized by the studios Disney, left to the cinema the June 9th 1934. It marks the first appearance of Donald Duck.

Synopsis

A mother hen and her chicks seek of the assistance to plant a field of Maïs, but the two neighbors, the duck Donald Duck and the pig Peter Pig, make very to avoid work. She manages to give them a lesson at the end of the cartoon.

The cartoon was adapted in Cartoon by Al Taliaferro and Ted Osborne, in the Sunday newspapers starting from the September 16th 1935. The history differs from the cartoon: Donald Duck and Peter Nif-Nif are charged to find one of chicks of warned hen, that which is black. The history was published initially in France in the Journal of Mickey from April at August 1935.
