a man whom I like is a French film carried out by Claude Lelouch of 1969.
Synopsis
The chance encourages the meeting in the United States of an actress and a type-setter, both French. Leaving his/her husband and his son to Paris, Francoise, actress of cinema re-elected, flies away for the United States, where a turning waits. Type-setter, Henri, married to an Italian, came only to New York to record the music of film. The risks of turning lead them soon both to Los Angeles. There, they make knowledge, take glass together and become lovers. The following day, Henri decides to delay his twenty-four hours return to take along Francoise to Las Vegas. A new night of love later, they rent a car and start a tour through the United States with the intention to join New York….
