a dispenser of justice in the city ( Death Wish ) is an American police film carried out by Michael Winner in 1974. It is the beginning of a series of several films with in the role high-speed motorboat Charles Bronson.
Summary
After the assassination of his wife and the aggression of his daughter, an architect gives himself the mission of avenger or dispenser of justice in the city.
Comments
One of many American films on the insufficiency of justice and the recourse to violence to stop violence. This film caused the polemic because of the behaviors which it puts forward; its business success, as well as the world resonance of the continuations testify to a persistent concern of the Urban violence in the great agglomerations since the Années 1970.
