Ave is a term Latin, used by the Roman meaning “hello” or “hello”.
The term was used specifically to greet the emperor Caesar or other authorities (to refer to the sentence celebrates Ave Caesar, Morituri you Salutant , “Hello with you César, those which will die greet you”, sentence supposément used by the gladiators before a combat).
The version of the Annonciation consigned in the Vulgate translates the safety of the angel with Marie by Ave Maria, gratia plena (“Hello with you Marie, full with grace”). The Ave Maria is a catholic prayer with the Virgin who inspired by the type-setters of sacred musics. The Ave Husbands Stella and the Ave Regina are two different.
The fascistic modes of the 20th century also adopted this greeting. It was used in Nazi Germany in her German translation direct, heil .
