AUDIPOG

Association AUDIPOG (association of the users of files computerized in Obstetric Pediatry, and Gynecology) was created in 1982 by Professor Claude Sureau following an work group joined together by the Advisory committee for the medical computing (CCIM) within the ministry for Health. The goal of this association was to promote the use of a " perinatal file commun" and the computerization of the maternities. Association diffused 2 files - the " file commun" and the " file minimum" - compatible and computerizable.

The AUDIPOG conceived a whole of files for each actor of health of the networks and wrote a schedule of conditions of the computerization of the networks, answering the objectives of the professionals. The principle rests on the installation of a computerization of the services and cabinets, answering their own operating process, and the duplication of the necessary informations to the other professionals on platform of communication. Thus each one has its own database perinatal locally, and each actor of health can reach the file of his patients on the common platform.

This philosophy answers the recommendations of the Fieschi report given to J. - F. Mattei on the sytèmes of information in health.

The information system France-Périnat was developed jointly by the AUDIPOG and CNGOF, in partnership with AUDIVAL and the unit INSERM 369 (NR. Udder, Equipe Epidemiology)

Network Sentinel

The network sentinel AUDIPOG is made up, since 1994, of a whole of maternity S public and deprived volunteers, of all the Régions of France, sharing individual data concerning their patients and their new-born babies.

Each year, approximately 100 maternity S took part in the Network Sentinel AUDIPOG. On the whole, 209 maternity S took part in this network since its origin. The group of maternity S taking part in the Network Sentinel however slightly changed, during the years.

The participation in the Network Sentinel being based on voluntariate, the distribution of the maternity S according to their legal status and them area differs from that of the whole France. A technique of rectification of sample makes it possible to provide valid indicators at the national level.
