AS-30L
AS-30L (ASL = air-to-surface Missile guided by Laser) is an air-to-ground missile of short range guided by Laser.
This short-range missile with fact its baptism of fire at the time of the war of liberation of the Kuwait in 1991. Its exceptional precision made of it the weapon of predilection of the French aviators at the time of this conflict. This missile is propelled by a rocket with fuel solid and directed by deflection of exhaust fumes. It is used on Mirage 2000, SEPECAT Jaguar, Mirage F1, Super-Standard or Bréguet Atlantique. He is usually guided by the pods ATLIS or PDLCT carried either by the plane gunner, or by another, or by a designation on the ground (Special forces).
