AIBN
The azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) is a molecule very much used to generate radical for ridicalizing reactions. The AIBN is a molecule which breaks up easily diazotizes some (gas) and in a radical stabilized by the grouping nitrile.
Other traditional generators of radicals are the Peroxyde S but they present the disadvantage of being unstable and sometimes explosives. Therefore one uses now especially the AIBN as igniter.
