ACE Valentigney

The ACE Valentigney is a club of Football French founded in 1920. The club evolves/moves this season in the Third Division - Hen has (D12) District of Montbeliard. Valentigney ensured its promotion the upper floor for the season 2005-2006.

Historical reference marks

The Sports association of Valentigney is a founded general sports club in 1920 including/understanding a section football. The club proves particularly effective between the two wars by gaining 14 championships of DH in 19 seasons! Champion of France Honor in 1927, then champion of France Amateurs in 1936, the club doubist disputes the final of the Coupe de France in 1926 after having in particular left FC Rouen and the Metz-native CA. Vis-a-vis the Olympic of Marseilles finally, Edmond Chavey registers the single goal of the Lions which are inclined 4-1.

It should be noted that successes of the ACE Valentigney inspire the leaders of Peugeot to assemble FC Sochaux (1928). Jules Peugeot, mayor of Valentigney, is then also president of the ASV. Before the launching of the club sochalien, the players of Valentigney benefits from the advantages Peugeot, employment initially. Peugeot never subsidizes however directly the ASV.

Of 1942 with 1944, at the time of the darkest hours of the war, a fusion which one can describe here as safeguard, takes place between the FC Sochaux and the ACE Valentigney. Since 1944, the ASV finds its independence. The results are since then very disappointing. Let us announce the championship of DH in 1961; it is thin in six decades.
