ABC Robin

Light single-seat monoplane drawn in 1929 by A.A.Fletcher, with an aim of proposing to the private pilots an economic plane with the comfort of a car. The ABC Robin was thus a monoplane with braced high wing, of structure bilongeron out of wood with coating cloth-lined, easily folding to facilitate the arrangement of the apparatus. Entirely of wood, the fuselage had an entirely closed cockpit, a luxury at the time. Traditional, the landing gear was rather short so that one can penetrate in the cabin without staircase by a door located on the right. Traditional empennage of wood, cloth-lined coating. Single-seater and arrived at the time of the Great Depression, the ABC Robin was built only with one single specimen. It is also the only plane built by ABC Motors, more known for its engines.
