AB1
AB1 of its denomination of origin AB Chanel 1 is a Television channel French mini-general practitioner devoted to the young adults.
History of the chain
AB1 was launched in December 1995 under the name AB Chanel 1 nearly one year with the launching of the numerical range of satellite channels AB Sat as the chain prémium mini-general practitioner of this bouquet. The first programs are consisted of the sitcoms, series and japanimations of the Club Dorothée of which AB Groupe is producer.In 2000, the chain sets up new French programs produced by AB Production and leaving less place at the American productions: T.R.I.K " Strange Ridiculous Trash and Kitsh" , Sex Party and Décibels make their appearance, the Manga S also take a more important place and a film is diffused once per week. This programming French does not allure the public and AB1 thus returns in 2002 to its fundamental, series, sitcoms and mangas.
In July 2002, AB1 changes preparing and takes again the same design as that of the Belgian chain AB3. The sitcoms and series return in force in a format intended for the 15-34 years.
