Aÿ () is it twelfth Pharaon of the Nouvel Empire). Manéthon calls it Have () {Acherres}.
One locates his reign at the neighborhoods of -1327 with -1323.
It could be the son of Youya (Prophet of Min) and Touya (or Tyouyou) thus the brother of Tiyi {{Ire}}, the wife of Amenhotep {{III}}. It is an old civil servant when it reaches the capacity. Aÿ has the row of " Divin" father;. It reaches the station of vizier under Toutânkhamon, then with died of this last (of which he would be perhaps the murderer, according to some Egyptologists) he seizes the power and would marry the widow of Toutânkhamon, Ânkhésenpaamon in order to legitimate his accession with the throne (assumption who rests on very mean indices), but certain elements let suppose that he could have been the father of the queen Néfertiti. Genealogy
He marries Tiyi {{II}} (or Ti) and has two or three children: Nakhtmin which under Toutânkhamon has the title of General, Néfertiti (the sources are dubious) wife of Amenhotep {{IV}}/Akhénaton and Moutnedjemet wife of Horemheb.
Ânkhésenpaamon would have had a child Ânkhésenpaaton Tasherit if this possibility were proven, which would be the father?
