Aïchatou Diori
Mrs. Aïssa Diori, of the Ethnos group Peulh, was the First lady of Niger of 1960 with 1974.
Born with Dogondoutchi, Although not being provided education for, it very early became aware that its role should not be limited to the hearth. She engaged fully at the sides of President Hamani Diori to forge an image at the levels national and international. Mrs. Aïchatou Diori asserted herself as a strong personality admired and listened on the image of Sarrounia , the queen of her native area. Even if the press of the time “minimized” its role, she is recognized like enthusiastic défenseuse rural world and of the woman.
