China
- the Mandchourie and the North of the Korea are incorporated in the Empire Khitan.
- September 6th: Their chief Abaoji dies during an offensive against the empire Toungouse of Pokhaï. Following this countryside, the tribes Jurchen of the forests of the Oussouri, related to the Mandchous, are subjected to Khitan which then extend their empire to the border of Korea.

Economy and company
- In the empire Khitan, the free shepherds are exempted taxes, but must ensure the postal service. Only the submitted people are fixed with the tax. Art and culture
- Construction of the first church of Cluny. Odon, abbot of Cluny (926 - 942) makes the center of the monastic reform of it. He writes a hagiography indicating how the men can ensure their safety without entering in religion but while uniting their prayers to those of the monks.
