8th district of Paris
The 8th district of Paris is the result of the extension of the capital in the middle of the 19th century. It is bordered in the West by the {{XVIe}} district, in North by the {{XVIIe}} district, in the East by the {{IXe}} and {{Ier}} districts, and in the South by the the Seine and the {{VIIe}} district.
The 8th district is one of those where high the Bourgeoisie resides. It is also a place to be able, since it includes/understands the Elys3ee palace and the ministry for the Interior, as well as the seat of the UMP since 2002.
