Johannes Faber is a Médecin and a Italian Botaniste of origin German E, born in 1574 with Bamberg in Germany and died in 1629.

He is the doctor of the pope Urbain VIII. He takes part in the foundation of the first scientific company of the world, the Accademia dei Lincei. One allots to him the invention of the word microscope .
