  • Fall of monarchy Tibetan with the murder of the king Langdarma by a buddhist monk and splitting up of the country. The Chinese take again the control of trade route of Central Asia between China and Persia. The Tibet enters during one obscure time between 852 and 970. The Buddhism, uprooted by the loss of the monastic communities and royal patronage, survives certainly in isolated small groups, in particular in the east of Tibet.
