7th stage of the Tour de France 2005
The 7th stage of the Tour de France 2005 was held the July 8th 2005 between the town of Lunéville and the town of Karlsruhe in Germany. Of a 228,5 km length on flat ground it is the third longest stage of the turn. The last presence of the Turn in Germany goes up with the Tour de France 2002.
After an escape with the long course of 160 km of the German Fabian Wegmann taken again to 23 km of the goal, the arrival was judged with the sprint with the victory of the Australien Robbie McEwen, taking down its second victory over this lathe, in front of Magnus Backstedt.
