7 Year Bitch

Formed in 1990 by the guitarist Stefanie Sargent, the bass player Elizabeth Davis, Valerie Agnew with the battery, and Selene Vigil with the song, 7 Year Bitch was an American group of music entirely female, of influence Punk rock'n'roll and originating in Seattle, Washington, of 1990 with 1996. Even if their energetic music and the subjects evoked in their song led the specialized press to classify them like groups Riot grrrl S, they are always denied this assimilation. Their musical production is made up of three albums, Sick 'EM in 1992, ¡ Viva Zapata! in 1994 (thus called in homage to Mia Zapata, leader of The Gits ), and Gato Negro in 1996. the line up of the group evolved/moved little during its existence, only the guitar changed three times of hand, the first time, after the tragic disappearance of Stefanie Sargent, died following an overdose in 1992.
