740 Park Avenue
740 Park Avenue is a residence of luxury on Park Avenue with Manhattan, this one is inhabited by the " grands" of the business world. The residence uses also the address 71 East 71st Street.
History
It is a building of 31 apartments builds in 1929 by James T. Lee and drawn by Rosario Candela and Arthur Loomis Harmon in the style Art déco. The apartments all are of the duplex except one which is plywood.
In 2005, the writer Michael Gross published a book very detailed on the history of the building, 740 Park: The Story off the World' S Richest Apartment Building .
Famous residents
- Jackie Kennedy, passed its childhood there.
