7-white line (subway of Montreal)
Proposed for the first time by the Office of transport of Montreal (BTM) in September 1983, the original project of the North-South new line, Line 7 - number 6 being reserved for an underground line project on the surface of the ministry for Transport of Quebec (MTQ) - would have had 10 stations (of Magpie-IX with Leger), which from there was proposed formally by the Urban community of Montreal (CUM) at the beginning of 1984, this time with 12 stations (of Magpie-IX with Maurice-Duplessis/Langelier).
It should be noted that bulky studies of custom, scenarios of service road, layouts of line and positioning of the station S were carried out during the decade which followed. A copy of these documents are filed with the central Library of Montreal.
The arrival of the Années 1990 is marked by an important deficit of public finances everywhere in Canada as well as an economic recession, drying up the funding sources of the project.
