Events

With the the Maghreb, the Moslem general Oqba ibn Nafaa walk towards the west with its troops and captures the Christian Berber chief of Aurès Koceila, chief of the tribe of Aurébas, in the surroundings of Tlemcen. It would have reached Tangier where reign Christian prince Julien.

Koceila manages to escape and gather the Berber troops. It lets Oqba be inserted towards the west without attacking it to surprise it on its return.

Yazid Ier, Caliph of Damas, begins its reign (fine in 683).
