the sum of almost all the Roman numerals (except M), of smallest with largest, I + V + X + L + C + D or of largest with smallest, D + C + L + X + V + I is equal to 666 :
: (1 + 5 + 10 + 50 + 100 + 500 = 666) ;
the sum of all the numbers from 1 to 36 (1 + 2 + 3 +… + 35 + 36) gives 666. One can thus write that
: $\ sum_ {i=1} ^ {6 \ times6} I = 666$ ;
: and by noticing that 36 is the sum of the numbers of 1 with 8 :
: $\ sum_ {k=1} ^8 {\ sum_ {i=1} ^k} I = 666$ ;
the sum of the positions in the alphabet, multiplied by 9, of each Roman numeral (I, V, X, L, C and D) which it composent :
: 81 + 198 + 216 + 27 + 108 + 36 = 666
: (I, ninth letter, gives 9 * 9 = 81; V, twenty-second letter, give 22 * 9 = 198…) ;
Another manner of calculating is to pose following calculation, where one finds four times the 666. number;:
: (6 X 6 X 6) + (6 X 6 X 6) + (6 X 6 X 6) + (6 + 6 + 6) = 666 ;
Moreover, one can notice, that the sum of the squares of the Prime numbers up to 17 gives 666. Ainsi :
: 2 ² + 3 ² + 5 ² + 7 ² + 11 ² + 13 ² + 17 ² = 666.
It is still a Nombre of Smith: the sum of its Decimal digits (6 + 6 + 6 = 18) is equal to the sum of the decimal digits of its factorization in product of Prime numbers (666=2 X 3 X 3 X 37: 2 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 7 = 18)
