666 (group)

666 is a group of German Techno made of Thomas Detert and Mike Griesheimer. They were a strong success in the Années 2000 thanks to their dance endiablée which exploits a diabolic imagery.

History

In 1997, the group leaves its first individual Alarma! which becomes a tube in all Europe. The following year, 666 also gains a large success with Amokk , Diablo and Paradoxx . The stress is laid then on words in Spanish and a rather hard music Dance lorgnant on the Techno. The same year leaves their first album Paradoxx containing fifteen songs. In 1999 leaves individual the Bomba! followed I' m your Nitemare and D.E.V.I.L. as well as an album of remixes Nitemare containing the songs of Paradoxx in new versions.

In 2000, the group leaves two individual: Dance 2 Disco music and The Demon , and at the end of the year a new album: Who is afraid off…? containing 14 new songs of which D.E.V.I.L. , Bent! and the 2 individual ones of the same year.

Very popular in club and with the radio, 666 begins its decline in then 2001 where the group does not leave that single individual a Supa Dupa Fly in spite of very appreciated. Hellraiser , a best off CD and DVD, leaves the same year but its diffusion remains rather confidential. 2002 to 2005,666 per annum only one individual leaves, Rythms takes control and Insanity leaves respectively in 2002 and 2003 but do not gain a great success. They are then followed of Dance Now! (kick it) and Policia in 2004 and 2005 which are a return to the sources of 666 original but success are not very convincing.

Finally the 2 last productions of 666 are remixes their tubes produced with other DJs: Supa Deceived Fly 2005 with Jens O. and Atencion in 2006 with DJ Bonito
