650km
650KM - Lost in the ocean is a Online game massively multijouor of simulation of survival in hostile environment and adventure, created in France by the company Omegames. Currently V2 of the play is coded in Java. The play requires a navigator Web to function. More than 200000 players are dispersed on the archipelago of the play which is made up of 5 islands.
Principle
Survivor of a crash landing of plane, the player finds himself on a deserted island. He must install his camping, explore the island and develop competences to survive: to control fire, to collect objects with an aim of improving its camping such as sheets or wood and especially of finding what to nourish itself while learning how to fish and drive out.
An evolutionary play
Each month the development team and of graphic designer dedicated to 650km.com sets up the evolutions of gameplay in 2 different ways:-
Thanks to the players: One or more players started a particular event, the team sets up the resultant of these events thus offering to the players an additional add one.

Thanks to the Masters of play: At Omegames, there are scenario writers who include with the wire of the time of new wild animals, of new environments by adding islands to archipelago etc…. That with for effect to break the lassitude which resides in general on the plays of simulation on Internet.
History
Version 1.0 of 650km.com was brought into service in February 2006 and was developed in PHP. At the end of the first month of startup of the play, close to 20 000 players were registered.After a few months of operation and the presence of almost 80.000 players with peaks of 500 trying to connect itself simultaneously, the site showed its limit in the capacity of reception of the players.
In February 2006, an additional waiter was installed with a more stable version of the play, version 1.5 made it possible to accommodate the players during a few additional months until a number of registered users of 100 000 (of the peaks of 700 players).
The new version of 650km.com, called V2, at summer put on line on August 1st, 2007.
