  • Victoire of the Arab on the Persian with Oullaïs, on the Euphrate.

  • Isidore of Seville chairs the fourth council of Tolède which issues the union of the Church and the State, the creation of episcopal schools in each diocese and the unification of the liturgical practices. The council also promulgates anti-judaïques guns.

  • the Spanish Church proclaims the electivity of the kings by it and the Large ones and introduced the sacring.
  • Oswald (602-642), king of Northumbrie (holy).
    • October 12th: Edwin of Northumbrie is beaten and killed by Penda of Mercie to the Bataille of Hatfield Chase. Its successor Oswald is threatened with his advent by a rising of some of his subjects, of which Breton attaches with Irish Christianity. He grants to this last all his favor.
  • Foundation of the Breton kingdom of Strathclyde with Dumbarton like capital.
