53e regiment of transmissions
The 53e regiment of transmissions is a unit of the Army French.
The flag
The Drapeau carries the inscription ITALY 1944 corresponding to the particularly brilliant control of old of the company of transmissions 83/84.
It is decorated with two Military Cross 1939-1945:
- a Military Cross 1939-1945 with quotation with the order of the Army corps for the company of transmissions 96/84 on July 12th, 1945 with star of vermeil;
- a Military Cross 1939-1945 with quotation with the order of the army corps for the company of transmissions 83/84 on July 22nd, 1944 with money star.

Heraldic
Ecu of imagination of azure bordered of Mouths (Bordeaux wine) to a chart of Italy of ingenuous, charged with a post and gold electric wires, stitched of a stylized tau of turquin in charge of a flash and number 53 of money accompanied by the badge by the 3rd DIA and numbers 83/84 in figures of the second metal. Approved under the number G 4022 on March 29th, 1993.
Description
The blue tau (symbol of the Transmissions) in relief, is charged on the horizontal bar with the spark and figure 53 to show that it is about the badge of 53e RT.
The badge of the 3 {{E}} DIA on the left, and figures 83/84, on the right, attest filiation of 53e RT to knowing, the company 83/84 which was the company of Transmissions of this 3rd DIA in 1944.
In bottom, white on the light blue and light blue on the dark blue, the boot of Italy recalls brilliant led 83/84e company at the time of the countryside of Italy in 1944.
Represented in bottom on the left, the badge of 3rd DIAa, comprises a Victoire in superposition of three crescents. This Victoire is that, known as of Constantine. It is, indeed, in Constantine which was created on May 1st 1943, the 3rd DIA of the Général of Monsabert, starting from the division of walk of Constantine which, with the orders of the Général Welbert, took again the Tunisia with the Germans and the Italians between November 1942 and May 1943.

History
Resulting from a line from battalions and companies from Transmissions, the 53e regiment of transmissions of today is paradoxically a young regiment, whose youth is due to the many reorganizations that he knew.
- 1923 : creation of the 45e battalion of the genius to Hussein-Dey (Algeria).
- 1935 : formation of the 19th regiment of the genius (fusion of 45e BT and the 32e battalion of minor sappers).
- 1942 : creation of the Weapon of the Transmissions.
- 1943 :
- Creation of the 45/3 (3rd Company of 45e BT) with Maison Carrée (Algeria).
- Creation of the 3rd DIA (division of Algerian infantry).
- 45/3 becomes mixed Compagnie of Transmissions 83/84 of 3rd DIA.
- 1945 :
- 1946: 83/84 becomes 53e company of Transmissions to Bingen (Germany).

- Dissolution of 53e Work Card
- Creation of the 53e Mixed Company of Transmissions within the 46e Battalion of Transmissions to Bad Kreuznach (Germany).
- 1949 53e C.M.T. becomes 2nd company of 46e BT.
- 1958 46e BT becomes 53e BT with Freiburg (Germany).
- 1969 Creation of 53e RT in Freiburg (Germany).
- 1970 53e RT becomes 53e RCT.
- 1978 53e RCT becomes 53e RT within the 2 {{E}} CA (Germany).
- 1992 Dissolution of 53e RT in Freiburg (Germany).
- 1993 Re-creation of 53e RT to Lunéville like regiment of transmissions of system HADES (see Missile Hadès).
- 1997 53e RT HADES becomes 53e RT RITA.
- 1998 Integration of the regiment in the European Body/OPCOM.
- 2001 Transformation of the European Body into Body of fast reaction European.
