4th regiment of guards of honor of the imperial Guard
The 4th regiment of guards of honor of the imperial Garde is a unit of Cavalerie created in France in 1813, under the First Empire. He knows a transitory existence, since he is dissolved as of the Restauration, in 1814.
Formation

History of the garrisons, combat and battles of the 4th regiment of guards of honor
The departure for Lyon of the quotas of the departments is carried out in large pump: procession in front of the prefect, meal and toasts, the whole in an atmosphere good child. In the urgency of the military situation, the first guards join Lyon at the beginning of June.

The guards of honor are undoubtedly regiments of rich, but among these rich, the 4th fact stains. Its recruitment is much élitiste than in the three others and much more rural, but its patriotism and its manpower are higher to them. More ignored regiments the 4th guards of honor is not worst. With 4th, there did not need to lock up part of manpower for fear they betray. There are no attempted murders of its officers.
