The 49ers of San Francisco ( San Francisco 49ers in English) is a frankness from the in [[National League Football]] ( NFL ) based with San Francisco.
History
The frankness was founded in 1946 by Tony Morabito within the framework of the AlAmerica Conference, league of football rival of the NFL. The name of the team, which is the very first professional sporting team of the Peaceful Coast, recalls the Gold rush of California of 1849 which gave its rise to San Francisco and with all the California. The color gold of the helmet underlines also this memory. In 1950, the AAC is dissolved and the 49ers are invited to join the NFL in company of Browns of Cleveland and the Colts of Baltimore. The Fifties and Sixties are remembered by high-speed motorboats such Y.A. Tittle, Joe Perry, John Henry Johnson, Hugh McElhenny and the magic of John Brodie. In 1971, the 49ers elect residence in Candlestick Park (currently named Monster Park).
In 1977, ED Debartolo Jr. buy the frankness and brings a new wind to it while engaging as trainer Bill Walsh who quickly will develop “West Coast Offense” which will rest on the shoulders of a young very promising quarter, Joe Montana.
From 1981 to 1997, the team gains thirteen championships of division. She gains also the Super Bowl XVI, her first, in 1981 against Cincinnati. From 1983 to 1998, the 49ers become the first team of the NFL to gain at least 10 parts during 16 consecutive years. In 1984, conquest of Super Bowl XIX against Miami.
With the complicity of young wolves such Roger Craig, Tom Rathman, Brent Jones, John Taylor, Charles Halley, Ronnie Lott, and especially Jerry Rice, Joe Montana manage to triumph against Cincinnati and Denver at the time of Super Bowl XXIII and XXIV in 1988 and 1989.
Weakened by wounds, Montana is replaced in brilliant way by Steve Young with beginning of the year 90, and Young succeeds in getting for the 49ers their fifth Super Bowl in 1994.
In the history of the Super Bowl, the 49ers preserve the best percentage of victories, five against any defeat. Steelers de Pittsburgh and the Cowboys of Dallas have as many victories, but the latter have also 3 failures.
