48e division of infantry (France)

Creation and various denominations

  • February 3rd, 1915: Division of Infantry combined of the 7 {{E}} Army corps , consisted of 170e R.I and a mixed brigade of Zouave S and Rifleman S.
  • February 6th, 1915: becomes 48e Division of Infantry : 170e IH duplicates and forms the 95e brigade, the mixed brigade zouaves and riflemen becomes the 96e brigade.
