The 43ebataillon of marines is a Régiment French heir to the colonial Infanterie .

history

The 43e battalion of marines (43e BIMa) is a body of the Troupes of navy stationed with Port-Bouët, in the south-east of Abidjan, in Ivory Coast. It belongs to the TFCI, French troops stationed in Coast-in Ivoire. The 43e BIMa created on July 1st 1978 starting from the 4 {{E}} battalion of marines (4th BIMa) is the heir to the 43 {{E}} regiment of colonial infantry (43e RIC) and to the 43 {{E}} regiment of marines (43e RIMa).

  • in April 1956 it becomes the 43e B.I.C in Algérie in Phillippeville.
  • in 1960 the 43e R.B.I.M.a (armor-plated regiment of marines) east creates with Offenburg in Germany (F.F.A)
and that although the 43e B.I.M.a is always in North Africa.
  • in 1968 it becomes the 43e R.I.M.a
  • beginning of the year 1978, it is again dissolved, then as from July 1978, it becomes again 43e B.I.M.A, since this date, it is stationed with Port-bouet meadows Of Abidjan in Ivory Coast, or it found its vocation of Troupes of navy.
