China
- Reign in China of the North of Taiwudi, its personal name Tuoba CAT (You tender offer You ao) (424-452), king Tabghatch of the Wei of North. It organizes successively raids against the Avars (Ruanruan or Jouan-Jouan) of the Gobi and against the empire of Nankin. It imposes its authority on all China of North.
Empire hunnic
- the king of the Huns Rugas moves its seat in the area of the the median Tisza (towards 424).
- Peace treaty between Rugas and the Romans Eastern (after 424). Rugas obtains the payment of an annual tribute of 350 pounds gold.
- Tender of the Gépides by the Huns, which exterminate the royal families and leading which did not go without condition.
- Treasures hidden by the nobility gépide in escape (Szilágysomlyó, Brestov, Gelénes). The treasures of Szilágysomlyó (Transylvania), composed of money and gold fibules decorated with precious stones, are allotted to the Gépides installed since the 3rd century in the valleys of the the higher Tisza, the Szamos and the Kraszna.
- Discovered funerary offerings intended for dignitaries huns in Hungary (sites of Pécs-Üszögpuszta, Bátaszék and Pannanhalma): parts of harnessing (tags and pendentive of support, bit out of iron with needle gilded, trimmings of saddle out of gold), weapons (arrowheads with three wings, points of lance out of iron, long sword, small arcs of parade covered with gold sheets), partitioned plate-loops (of belt, boots, suspension of sword).
- Treasure of the tomb of Nagyszéksos (not dated exactly): torque of solid gold of 401 G, plate-loops, clothing bent of gold wire and spangles of gold, gold trimming of a sleeve of sword, an arc of pageantry, a quiver, saddles, containers (electrum cuts…).
