3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of arts and textile industries

The 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of arts and textile industries or ENSAIT is a University of Engineer S French. It is one of the first European schools in its field since it forms more than 60% of the engineers Textiles French, of the Engineer S equipped with solids aptitudes for the innovation. The ENSAIT is entitled by the Commission of the titles of engineers and delivers a diploma for the occupation of engineer giving the rank of Master.

History

In 1876, the Municipal council of Roubaix, eager to give satisfaction to the wishes of the population to have a special teaching, adapted to the needs for an industrial big city, adopts the creation of an establishment intended to gather on a central point the academic schools (weaving, drawing…) with their collections, the artistic and industrial museum, and the library, disseminated before in the city.

The library, built in 1881, and the amphitheater are registered with the additional inventory of the historic buildings. The school was founded in 1889

After the ENSAIT, the students have access to very broad outlets in innovating sectors fully integrating the technical textiles and advanced materials: car, aeronautics, health, sport, mode…

Formation

The ENSAIT proposes two dies of formation to obtain the diploma for the occupation of engineer recognized by the Commission of the Title of engineer. A traditional die of formation including/understanding:

of the lesson which is carried out in the form of course, directed conferences, seminars, work, practical works.
of personal work within the framework of in-company trainings or Industrial project of Innovation, active participation to the professional demonstrations
of the projects in group (project of 1st year, 2nd year)

an immersion with international with 10 weeks abroad
