Lesson
The coloured testimony of Jean-Pierre Boyer, who attended the school between 1946 and 1949, gives an good idea of the contents of the lesson:In Grignon, one had spoken to us only about varieties of Blé, Endive S or Poire S, which had passably shaved me! One had spoken to us about good the dairy and the good Foin, which had left me also indifferent. The talks to which I had had right on the anthocyanic pigments me had hardly impassioned either much! The courses of Bioclimatologie appeared also rather smoky to me! Only, the courses of maths had really interested me. There was no course of philosophy, nor agricultural course of Géographie. As for the courses of Animal husbandry, they never called upon the Génétique. All the genetics which was taught related to the vegetable world. Except some considerations on the Drosophila!
