3D XML
The 3D XML is a format of data 3D owner created by Dassault Systèmes, software publisher CAD (CATIA SolidWorks). The specification was made public on June 15th, 2005.
The company, of which all the products of the range supports the format, also proposes free readers:
- 3D XML Player is available on Windows platform for Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Mozilla.
- 3D Life Player , published by its subsidiary company Virtools, is available for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla and Netscape, but only under Windows.
IBM also makes it possible to integrate objects 3D XML in the documents Lotus Notes.
