30 Seconds to Mars

30 Seconds to Mars is a group of alternative Rock American, more especially originating in the California. It is founded in 1998 by the actor Jared Leto and its big brother Shannon Leto. It is by giving some small concerts in bars, that the group proves reliable. Arrive then in 2001, their first individual Welcome to the Universe thanks to which they is quickly pointed out, in particular by the group Puddle off Mudd which invites them at once to turn with them to the the United States. It is thanks to this round that the group signs at Immortal Records (Virgin) .

The group involves a true passion and the number of fans grows at high speed, formant what the group will baptize the Level or Army Mars. True army of street, the Army Mars undertakes to make known the group at the time of missions propaganda near radios, television channels or in the street or the festivals. It astonishes by its devotion and its international character. Indeed, one counts Divisions of the Level in the United States, in Europe, in Japan, in Russia or in Australia.

In September 2002, the group leaves its first album entitled: 30 Seconds to Mars and starts again to turn to the United States with Incubus. Solon Bixler however leaves the in February 2003 group, wearied life on the road. Finding itself without guitarist, the group assembles a casting and recruits one of its larger fan, Tomo Milicevic. The final formation was born.

In 2005, the second allbum, named has Beautiful Lie arrives in the vats. Contrary to the first that Jared Leto realized almost only, this album is written to four. In the booklet of CD Jared Leto thanks amongst other things, Jesus, Buddha, Ron Hubbard founder of the scientology….

In 2006, the group starts its first round as a head of poster. Baptized Forever Night, Never Day, the round will extend until August, of many dates being added progressively. 30 Second To Mars makes its first European round at the beginning of 2007, in Germany, England, France (on February 2nd in Paris) and Netherlands.

May 30th, 2007, the group makes the first part of the concert of Linkin Park to the general sports Palais of Paris-Bercy. It is the shortly at the head after poster in the Elysium Montmartre.

Two individual results already from the album has Beautiful Lie: " Attack" then " The Kill" , of which the clip directly inspired of the film " Shining" is nominated in MTV Video Music Awards. A third is currently available: " From Yesterday" whose clip was turned to China in the month of November 2006, in particular on the site of the Great wall. 4th and the last individual one will be " With beautiful Lie" whose turning of the clip should start in the next weeks.

Matt Wachter, bass player for 5 years, has announced on March 1st, 2007 that it left the group to be devoted to his family. It is replaced by Tim Kelleher, which had already replaced it on the round when Matt had made a pause to marry. Matt has just been officialized as bass player in the group Angels & Airvawes. One always knows nothing as for officialization Tim in the group.

November 1st, 2007, the group gains the price of the best rock group to the MTV Europe Music Awards in the carégorie ROCK'N'ROLL OUT
