Painting
A draft is a Dessin plotted quickly either like outline for more carcass work heavy castings, or to take notes under conditions which do not make it possible to create a drawing or a Peinture as complete as desired.
Certain drafts can be masterpieces in themselves, like the watercolours of the notebooks of voyages of Eugene Delacroix and Léonard de Vinci.
The techniques generally used for the drafts are Indian ink, Fusain, Sanguine, Aquarelle, Crayon, but many other techniques also can the being with experiment.
Structure
In Architecture, the draft is the first representation of a construction project. The draft precedes the summary Avant-projet.
