  • Beginning of the reign of Tiridate III in Arménie (fine in 324).
    • Tiridate III, combined of Rome, benefits from a victorious campaign of the Roman armies against Persians to return in Arménie and to raise the people. He is made crown king into 294.
    • a Chinese prince, Man Koun, is distinguished in the Armenian rows during this countryside. Established in Arménie, it founds the family of the Mamikonian, which will provide throughout the Middle Ages the general-in-chiefs of the army.
    • Tiridate III persecutes the Christians under the reign of Dioclétien. According to the tradition of the Armenian Church, the Christian Grigor, faithful priest of the king, having refused to take part in the sacrifices with the goddess Anahit in Eriza (Erzindjian), undergoes “twelve tortures” with a supernatural courage. Learning that Grigor is the son of Anak, the assassin of its father, the king makes it throw in a pit of the capital reserved for condemned to death. There will remain thirteen years there.
