25e regiment of artillery

The 25e regiment of artillery is an old unit of the dissolved French Army in 1994.

February 10th, 1872: creation with Vincennes of the 25e Regiment of Artillery starting from batteries of the 17 {{E}} Regiment of Artillery. The regiment is based with Châlons on Marne.
1883: transformation into 25e Regiment of Field artillery
February 1919: becomes the 25e Régiment of Artillery of Walk
1923: 25e Divisional Regiment of Artillery with Thionville
June 1940: the regiment is destroyed and captured
1945: reformation as a 25e Regiment of Metropolitan Artillery
August 1955: creation of the Group of Walk I/25 to take part in maintains order in AFN
March 9th, 1957: becomes the I/25e Régiment of Artillery to Foot .
May 1st, 1958: becomes again the 25e Régiment of Artillery
January 1st, 1994: dissolution
