- August: A second edict prohibits the Christianisme in the Roman Empire. It divides the Christians into four categories: the priests must undergo the capital punishment; the senators and the knights must be degraded and their confiscated goods; the matrons will go in exile; the imperial civils servant are condemned to the forced labors.
- August 6th: The Pape Sixte II is martyrisé.
- August 10th: Martyrdom of Saint Laurent on a grill, in Rome.
- September 14th: Cyprien, the bishop of Carthage, is martyrisé (decapitated).
- Attacks of the Berber in Maurétanie Cesarean and in the Aurès, not easily pushed back into 258 and 260.
