2267, ultimate crusade ( Crusade ) is a Televised series étasunienne in 13 episodes 42 minutes, created by Joe Michael Straczynski and diffused June 9th at September 1st 1999 on the network TNT. In France, the series was diffused October 8th 2000 with the March 18th 2001 on Canal+.

Synopsis

This series, derived from Babylon 5 , puts in scene the crew of the vessel Excalibur whose mission is to find an antidote with a virus threatening to destroy the human race. It is held five years after the oddment Babylon 5

The series in the universe Babylon 5

The series fits in the universe created and developed by Straczynski in Babylon 5 . The events of its first episode immediately follow those of the telefilm the Call to the weapons ( A Cal to Arms ) in which Drakhs conducted an attack against the Earth, and there dispersed a deadly virus within 5 years.

The vessel Excalibur was brought into service in the Call to the weapons and is resulting from a project unites land Minbari-Alliance, launched by the president of interstellar Alliance John Sheridan at the end of 2262 (season 5 of Babylon 5 ). The character of max Eilerson works for IPX (interplanetary Forwardings), a firm which explores the worlds with civilizations disappeared to find their technologies.

The Techno-magi, whom Galen represents, had been seen during their exodus during the second season of the series-mother, and their history and that of Galen were developed in a trilogy of novels of Jeanne Cavelos, The Passing off the Techno-Magi .

The captain Elizabeth Lochley, governor of the station Babylon 5, is the only character of the initial series to the credits of 2267, ultimate crusade .
