Comments

The topics approached in the series are similar to those of many American series of the end of the the Eighties or the beginning of the the Nineties: crimes, alcoholism, drug taking, businesses related to the sex, etc At the end of one hour of intrigue, each episode implicitly delivers a moral message with the problem mentioned in the episode.

It is this series which contributed to make known the Johnny Depp actor in the whole world. Its departure of the series supported certainly the fall of audience of season 5.

A spin-off ( derived series ) was born from this series: to see Booker .

The film One night in Roxbury ( has Night At the Roxbury ), of John Fortenberry, 1998, refers several times to the series 21 Jump Street .

In November 2002, Paramount had planned to make a feature film based on the series, but the project forever considering the day.

The integral of the first and second seasons left in DVD, but only in zone 1.
