20 km of Lausanne

The 20 km of Lausanne are a pedestrian Course Suisse which takes place each year in April.

Course

The race starts from Vidy and traverses 20 kilometers in the streets of Lausanne before returning at the edge of the lake. The arrival takes place in the stage Pierre-of-Coubertin.

One of the characteristics of this race is its uneven: it leaves to 376 meters altitude, reached 536 meters with the 12th kilometer before going down again.

In addition to the 20 kilometers, there exist several other categories: 10 km, 4 km, 2 km and " to run for the plaisir" (race without timing).
