2000 maniacs

2000 maniacs ( Two Thousand Maniacs! ) is a film of horror gore, the second opus of the Blood Trilogy (with Blood Feast and Color Me Blood Red) of Herschell Gordon Lewis, turned in 1964.

Synopsis

The small town of Pleasant Valley celebrates the hundredth birthday of the day when the northerner troops devastated it. Six tourists “  yankees  ” are the guests of honor of these festivities but they are found quickly separate of force and hostages of cruel plays which will carry out them towards an abominable death.

2000 maniacs with the reputation to be a film badly carried out but profits from the statute of Film worship of the fact, perhaps, of sound extrème violence. A Remake was carried out in 2005 under the title 2001 Maniacs .
