2000 Years of History … of France (to be followed):
As regards cartoons, the first initiative of transposition of the French history worthy of this name, a way set of themes, organized and quite simply chronological , returns quite naturally to the editions Larousse, of 1976 with 1978. Initially in the form of monthly booklets sold in kiosks, then gathered in 8 hard-bound albums, with the assistance of large draftsmen of the time: Raymond Poïvet, Victor of Fuente, Gerald Forton, Julio Ribera, Maurillo Manara, Eduardo Cœlo, Xavier Musquera, and Raphaël (on scénarii of Roger Lécureux (Valiant), Jean Olivier (Valiant), Pierre Castex (Valiant), Christian Godard, Victor Mora and Jacques Bastian):
